So here it is – Warlord MC is finally taking shape. It’s an international Minecraft Skyblock server we’ve been building for a while now, mixing the usual island-survival grind with a proper player economy and some PvP on the side. Right now we’re deep in the unglamorous part: tuning the server, getting the website and webshop in order, sorting out Discord and the rest of our socials before we actually open the doors.
Progression runs through five ranks, Squire up to King, all available through the webshop once it’s live. On top of that there are two limited top ranks – Warlord and High Warlord – for the players who really want to stand out. Only a handful of each will ever be active at once.
Island building is still the heart of it – build whatever you want, however you want. But we didn’t want a server where the only economy is a static admin shop, so we’re running things through a proper Auction House instead, player to player. There’ll also be NPC vendors scattered around – one set near the castle, another in a little woodland house close to spawn – selling the basics: food, potions, gear, that kind of thing.
For anyone who wants more than peaceful building, there’s a separate PvP zone away from the islands, plus a colosseum-style duel arena for 1v1s or team fights. We’re also planning seasonal PvP – leaderboards, rewards, the works – though honestly we’re still working out exactly how that’s going to run. More on that once it’s locked in.
